Fariha follows a 70-year-old Yemeni singer who stepped away from a promising singing career in the 1980s after facing a series of setbacks within a male-dominated society and industry. When filmmaker Badr discovers her singing in her small kiosk in downtown Sana’a, he begins following her with his camera, uncovering her past and encouraging her to return to her long-lost passion: performing on stage.
