An Omani filmmaker and President of the Oman Film Society. He holds a BA in Radio and Television (Bayan College, in collaboration with Purdue University) and a diploma in photography. He is a member of the General Union of Arab Artists (2025–2029). Al-Ajmi has directed several short fiction and documentary films, winning 12 awards, including the Jury and Audience Awards for Al-Morad (2024) and Best Omani Film for Al-Manyour (2023). He has also served on juries at 9 regional and international festivals.
