A Bahraini independent filmmaker, Fulbright Scholar with an M.A. in Film/TV from SCAD and over a decade of experience in media, and musician. Her latest credits include "Stitches, " which premiered at TIFF Lightbox, music video "Ghost" for Grammy-nominated artist Xenai; and CBC Creator Network's "Good Nose." Deena also teaches children and community filmmaking workshops (in Bahrain, Canada, and the US) empowering underrepresented voices in film and media.
