Danielle Alfaro is an El Salvadoran animation student at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in 2D animation and visual storytelling. For CAGED, she created the film’s 2D flashback sequences, helping to shape a protagonist whose character balances vulnerability with a more unsettling side. Through the project, she also explored questions of ethical responsibility, drawing parallels between everyday consumption and the hidden harm that can exist behind widely used products.
