Maria Sayegh
Maria Sayegh is a Lebanese filmmaker and film directing graduate of the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts, whose work engages with social realities and systems often hidden from public view. Her graduation film, Souk Tafehom, examines organ trafficking concealed beneath the rhythms of everyday urban life, reflecting her interest in stories shaped by injustice and power. She is currently completing her master’s graduation film, a dystopian project that investigates the impact of capitalism through a speculative lens.
