The film follows a man who grows up beside a river, spending his childhood making paper boats and imagining distant horizons. After promising someone dear to him that he will one day build a real ship and sail the world, the dream stays with him as the years pass. Despite the obstacles of adulthood, that early promise keeps pulling him towards the life he once imagined.
