The Alter Echo follows a 60-year-old factory worker whose lifelong hearing impairment gradually leads him toward complete deafness. Refusing to abandon the job that sustains him, he begins preserving the sounds around him in memory, building an intimate archive of a world he knows he will one day no longer hear. When silence finally arrives, those remembered fragments form a rich inner soundscape, allowing him to move through life accompanied by an echo of everything he once listened to.
