Director Bio: Zaki Alabdullah is a filmmaker and a recent MFA graduate from the film program at Northwestern University. His working method is an attempt to blur the line between fiction and nonfiction films. His latest film Saleh was his MFA thesis film and filmmaker Marco Williams mentored it. Zaki won the Canadian cinematography award for Best Cinematography in 2023 for his work on Saleh and it granted him a nomination for the Golden Eagle Award for Best Cinematography in 2024.
