Director Bio: Amina Abdelghany, 22, a Cairo-based visual artist, briefly studied photography in Florence, specializing in alternative processes like pinhole photography. Transitioning from fashion shoot assistance, she became a camera trainee under DOP Mostafa Fahmy. Abdelghany has also served as a film remote previewer for two years at the Women s Voices Now film festival in Los Angeles. Graduating from a university in Prague, her thesis featured a unique stop-motion animation using cyanotype prints, showcasing her blend of traditional and experimental techniques.
